"Now it begins"

I want to hear your soft voice

you are the truth and the seer

A war has begun in the deepest of the dark

but far far in the distance there is a shimmering light

A light like no other, so pure and sacred

I must reach this light

It will be a long journey with twisting roads

I know I can make it, and when I do, there will no longer be me or I

There will just be light.

We are beautiful

When working in a retail clothing store you pretty much see it all.  Something I have noticed lately is the way women think of their bodies.  I know the feeling of thinking im too fat or my butt is big or I need to loose weight.  I have been there and to be honest thinking like that is not going to help you feel any better.  We are all beautiful and are unique in our size and shape.  Embrace it!!! Its sad to see how women are changing in this world today.  Lets get back to our roots sisters!!!! We can do it I know we can.  Lets feel good about our bodies and celebrate our goddess within.


Im a woman and I am proud
I know who I am and I can do anything
I dance to the rhythms of my heart and my prana flows like the tides
The sun and the moon are my family and guide me through the day
The wind helps me remember things I have forgotten
The flowers tell me that everything is a cycle
I am a goddess and the world can hear my call

Shes got the whole world in her belly

My boyfriend drew and I got the pleasure of taking photos of our beautiful and perfectly pregnant friend Kristen.  We photographed her under the morning light while she did her daily routine.  This time with her ment the world to me. Seeing her radiance shine in the sun and her prana flowing was captivating.  Knowing how sweet of a friend Kristen is I know she will make such a nurturing mother.  Im so excited for her new life ahead and wish her luck on becoming a mommy.  Here are some moments I captured.

Hello are you there
I feel you speak so softly its hard to hear
So much knowledge in the depths of this cave
The only way to reach the light is to experience the darkness
I must walk alone into deepness
Where the treasure awaits
Not a treasure of jewels or material wealth a treasure of unity
A treasure we all can find
Once the fog of illusion has dissipated and light cloaks the cave
Then there and behold the jewel will be awaiting
Funny its been there the whole time
Its just because of the darkness and fog that jewel was not seen.

Tending to Our Garden

      We all have a sacred and beautiful garden.  It resides within every living soul.  This garden has the most rare flowers and the air is light and the birds sing songs of love and peace. Just like our gardens outside we have one inside.  We have to watch what we plant in our garden and how we care for our plants.  Your inner self can not be seen but can be felt.  It holds sacred knowledge that we cant learn from books.  As I dive deeper into my self I realize how important it is to tend to your inner self.  Not only does it increase your energy but it creates positive energy throughout the world.  We get what we give.  So tend to your gardens and give yourself the caring attention and watering that you deserve. 

Drops of rain

Its funny how the the power and force of mother nature can make you feel more alive than ever.  Even though at the time you may be scared  there is a sense of calmness and quietness in that fear.  Feeling your inner spirit shining within, you know everything with be fine.  Last night I experienced that feeling.  I was at a barn and a there was supposedly a tornado miles away.  The crazy thing was that I felt I had dreamed this before.  Feeling fear which was my mind and also feeling calmness and a all knowing feeling that everything was fine was my inner spirit, my real self.  Its very interesting to feel these 2 feelings inside your body and identifying their different effects. I have chosen a path that I know I am on for life and its adventures and lessons will slowly help me remember the knowledge I have always had within.  My intention for this Sunday is to listen to what nature has to say.

Awaken Prana

Im in love with life and the joy everyone and everything brings to me.  I bask in the love light that seeps out of every soul in this universe. Yoga awakens my inner spirit and lets me know my true self.  Im relearning the ways of life or shall I say im awakening what I already know.  In this vessel of mine a sacred lotus flower resides slowly unfurling with the increase of prana and non attachment. Once that flower has bloomed a blue vibrant light will illuminate my spirit and I will feel a love I have never felt before.  This journey I have chosen to take is a beautiful path of awakening and letting go. Im so grateful to have shared a connection with my beautiful friend Jaryn. Since the day I met this beauty I felt I had know her for life times.  With this sacred connection we have formed  trust within each other.  We had the pleasure of being photographed by our lovely friend Diane Nicole Clifford. The photos she captured of us shows our happiness and love for life.  They are raw, natural and elegant.  Thank you for this day I will never forget it.
