A rainy day with sunshine

On rainy days most people get depressed or daydream about past things that make one feel blue. On this particular rainy day there was a little sunshine shed on me. I was working my weekday downtown job and as usual i was reading my beloved book when a very interesting man came into the store. He was just one of those folks that catch your eye. He just gave a feeling of peace and love. He wore all white and had his dreads wrapped half up and was an older man prob in his late 50s. We started talking and he said he and his wife have their own clothing company. They were planning to travel over seas to buy fabric in a week or so. Me being curious I asked where he would be going. He replied India an Indonesia. Two places I often dream about. Wow India I said! He told me it was the most amazing place he has ever been. The people the culture the smells and spices. He looked me in the eye and said "you must go, it will change your life forever". I was like yes, yes ill go, snapping out of my trance. We talked a little more about ourselves and I told him about my jewelry thang I have going. Then he left and as he was walking out the door he said " you are headed on the right path, keep doing what you doing". What a relief, I thought I was a semi mess with my life as it is now. Good to know im doing some things right. Im reading a book called the alchemist right now and the boy in the book met a king and the king told him that you meet omens in your life and they send you a message. well i think that man was an omen in my life sending me a message of peace and telling me im doing good and to not worry. Im so glad I got that message. It made me feel at ease and not as worried of what people think. Be yourself and follow your heart and listen to your omens cause they could come on a rainy day and bring you some sunshine.
